Fantastic Fall in Breckenridge!
There is much anticipation buzzing around the town of Breckenridge come Fall. Not only are the leaves changing into a pastel of colors that Claude Monet would be proud of, but autumn means that the ski season is just around the corner. So, if you have decided to visit our glorious piece of heaven during autumn, we hope you book with us and take advantage of the amazing beauty this time of year affords. In fact, we want you to enjoy the beauty of fall in Breckenridge, so we are offering 15% OFF any 2 or more night reservation for the entire month of September!
If you are looking to explore and take in the changing leaves, you may want to visit the quintessential Boreas Pass Road by foot, by bike, or by car. This ever-popular spot is just minutes from our Breckenridge hotel and brings you to over 11,000 feet above town and the surrounding mountains.
The French Gulch area just across town from us is also a great place to leaf peep by bike or foot. Marked paths such as the B&B Tail and Minnie Mine offer amazing panoramas, and head one mile up the hill from the Wellington neighborhood to catch a glimpse of historic Breckenridge amongst the bursting fall palettes.
A bit longer of a drive from our Breckenridge lodge, head south for approximately seven miles on Highway 9 to the McCullough Gulch trailhead. Traverse rocks and waterfalls to look out over Summit County glittering in orange and gold.
After you are done exploring, you may want to spend some time with the locals celebrating the unofficial end of summer – and the beginning of fall – with the Rocky Mountain’s largest street party at the 23rd annual Breckenridge Oktoberfest, September 8-10. From September 14-17, the Breckenridge Wine Classic is in full swing, before the Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival (October 20-22) winds down the fall season and signifies a soon-to-come winter season.
